was with dy and jeffrey at nydc for dinner on wed's night.

these two guys have been with me since primary school.

i noted how our conversations have evolved into matured topics. future job prospects and employment opportunities dominated the main exchanges of the evening.

its amazing. time has flew past at a phenomenal rate. from pondering over sec sch options after psle, debating about which ccas to join together at chinese high, to rubbbishing about army, and now here we are. almost at the major crossroad - the end of our mainstream education years.

yes it seems incredulous at first thought. but to think about it, so much has happened from our initial years in primary school to the twilight of our student life now.

im not quite sure if im ready for the intimidating corporate world.

but im assured that i always will have friends and buddies to fall on.

cheers to friendship. (:

"occasionally, we behave like teenagers and have our petty tiffs.
but more often than that, we act like kids and have our silly laughters..."

clocked a morning gym session with the girl today. we got up relatively early because she has a busy and dynamic day of events ahead. haha

anyway was helping this guy spot at the bench press today upon his request. the initials sets were okay for him. naturally he kept piling up the weights. at this particular repetition, i felt i was losing him already. we struggled to get the bar to the 1st mark, way short of the starting mark. but it was still alright. he could get up and we both lifted the bar together back to the initial level.

i didn't exactly expressed it, but i was abit concerend when he indicated his desire to go under the bar and squeeze another set of a single repetition. so we gave it a shot.

it failed terribly. he couldn't elevate it at all once it was down to the ends and tried as i might i couldn't get it off his chest either. it took two other guys who rushed forward before all 4 of us in a desperate collective way bring the bar safely back onto the racks.

i was a little apprehensive when i knew i lost him because it was agonizing to watch as his face turned all red as we both squeezed whatever we got to try to get him out of the plight. thankfully there were others around. its unimaginable if it was earlier in the day when the gym is typically empty. i doubt the sports council aunties at the counter could offer much. haha

in anycase he was perfectly alright after the incident. i continued helpin him to spot. doing lighter weights of course. haha and he alarmed me when he said he hasn't been to gym for 3 whole weeks. and he actually tried to pull off such feat! i mean i din exactly count. but the number of plates i saw him attempt is definitely more than the usual bulk i see those regular gym rats lift. haha courageous dude man. but hes another nice guy i meet at the gym. haha

so here i am back at home! hoho after a nice invigorating shower, feeling all refreshed. a nice appetizing packet of mee fen awaits me for lunch.

loaded my song list with truckloads of mambo songs.! haha to keep my morale high throughout the afternoon as i strive to complete a substantial amount of work.

haha meeting the pri sch guys for dinner later. so i shall be productive before that and be an industrious and studious student.

and yes i vow to stay beyond few metres of my bed's radius.

haha the linesman is a noob shit. just like hq.

speaking of hq. was with him and yj yesterday at holland village breko's, watchin chelsea vs manchester united. nothing much to add about the game. but was perpetually

annoyed by this fan sitted behind us. he was so loud, so vocal and so irritating. i kept staring at him as i couldn't help making my displeasure known. i mean its like, the common jeers, cheers, claps and wolf whistles all contribute to the testosterone- charged ambience of watchin games at public places. but this retard certainly crossed the line. he was shouting at the top of his voice and expressing his anger and emotions as though he was alex ferguson at the sidelines. is he possessed thinking hes at stamford bridge?

quoting from hq, maybe he thinks he can 'infleuence the ref' with his irrational ramblings behind the tv set. i genuiely won't be surprised if he did seriously harbour such thoughts, especially if he happens to be as dumb as he looks.

Mamma mia, here i go again
My my, how can I resist you?
lo and behold, i declare this THE movie of 2008 thus far.! aptly potrayed as the 'best feel-good movie of the year'. nothing more to add really. i think this genre is unbeatable, and entirely impossible not to be absorbed into the plot. applause were aplenty in the theatre throughout, as though it was a 'live' musical. yes it sounds retarded but the gestures were mere pure genuine appreciations by the crowd. yes everyone enjoyed it that much.
seeing the older ladies bouncing about and squeaking like young hormones- raging teenage girls is priceless. i also particularly enjoyed seeing pierce brosnan in his element. in that timeless white long sleeve shirt, oozing charm and being the epitome of attractive matured men.
go catch it. and trust me you will be humming to the tune of 'you are the dancing queen, young and sweet, only seventeen..' for quite abit after you exit the cinema. haha
and oh i really like the girl's new hair! ((((:
soccer at ntu tomorrow!

was at holland v ydae w hq and pw, when i realised pina colada is no longer on the menu! sadness why. its the perfect smoothie to wash down ur throat in a humid climate like singapore's. frustration, another less choice on the non caffeine menu. anyway, was resigned to order the conventional sunrise, when the salesperson urged me to try a new mix, bananna dates. she claimed it was refreshing and customers generally have gave it good reviews. haha in anycase, she was nice to add that i could change it to any other drink if i didn't enjoy it. so i went ahead and gave it a shot.

ell, it certainly wasn't anything disastrous, had a 'barley-like' cooling effect to it. but having said so, it wasn't smashing either la. quite typical and nothing out of the box.

soccer this morning at toh guan. been quite a long while since i appeared in that court. haha sunburnt again. oh wells.

today is sunday! (:

today when i reached home, to my horror, i was crippled by the electricity cut. you see, there are some wiring works going on about my block and all units won't have power till 5pm. i kinda vaguely remembered receiving this notice some time back, but i didn't really mark down the date as im typically not home this early. lo and behold, today had to be the day.

reality didn't actually sink in entirely till i literally slowly discovered i could do no shit. no internet, can't open fridge, can't on fan and no heater for shower as welll. super disastrous i tell you.

anyway! dinner with the girl at ikea was gastronomic. its well known that the dishes there are widely worshipped by many. esp the legendary meatballs. but today, even more than usual, the swedish delights really swept me off and im whole-heartedly sold. im so going back there soon with her (: p.s. my pixel-deprived phone camera does no justice to how fantabulous the actual thing looks like.

came home and went for a run. very refreshing. the night breeze is really quite my thing. ((:

anw! saw this intruiging ad outside a 'beauty' salon! here comes my first ever challenge to anyone reading this! i will pay the $5 fee for anyone willing to undergo the mole removing service! hahah. i mean, im perplexed at how they could so simply do it at such ridiculous price. more so behind a hideous looking door. no less. haha whos up for it!
