first stop was NUM at wheelock. didn't find any stuff particularly appealing again. still yet to expand those vouchers. furthermore i have two sets of it. one from avenue q and the other from street challenge. shall see how. expires before the new year.

then it was borders, a natural choice since it was right below. haha borders is another place i won't mind spending hours at. time just speed away as i get myself hooked on the fitness magazines, random fiction reads and autobiographies.

i feel guilty saying this. but i shall put my hands up and say i have no idea how borders earn their revenue, but i sure don't contribute much to the figures. its not far fetched to say borders is my 'fav library', bar none . but anuj once said the wheelock borders outlet is their best - earning unit in the entire world. wow. extremely impressive. staying profitable and generating substancial social benefit. keep it up borders, keep it up.

typically i will leave borders for two reasons. it can never be because im done, cuz thats practically impossible. but its either fatigue from standing around as i browse or hunger. today was the latter. so we went far east and we subway-ed.

then we stopped by at tangs where the girl replenished her cosmetic supplies. haha seriously its accurate to assume both sexes enjoy retail therapy. but i think its reasonable to conclude the elation on a girl's face as she makes her ideal purchase is unmatchable. this is definitely female territory.

nx was heeren. all the levis jeans looked the same to me. the cuttings, the shades of blue,etc.. big headache.

okie lets fast forward

then raffles city topman. then spinelli for a glass of cookie spin. afterwhich we visited celeste at swissotel. type I was preparing for her prom that night. haha the young ones having their fun.

queensway was our last destination where we blew up our pockets for the day. haha had a cosy simple dinner there too. small servings but very very tasty stuff.

haha both of us were visibly contented with our purchases. yes our bank account suffered a mini terror attack. but life is too short . we all deserve to hit the cash register occasionally (:
